My name is Jake Palmer, a Web and Graphic Designer, living outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I specialize in both print and digital media that is easy to use and beautiful to look at. My goal is to produce unique designs while making user-friendly websites that are built according to best-practice web standards.
Work
I have been working as a full time in-house Graphic Artist since early 2006 where I am responsible for designing promotional materials, book covers and portions of the website. Jake Palmer Design debuted in 2006 and has been growing larger each year. I take great pride in specializing each client account and managing every project to the fullest. The company now works on business cards, posters, postcards, books, magazines, as well as websites.
School
In 2005 I graduated from University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Illustration. Along with my studies in illustration I also took classes in print making and typography. After graduating from school I learned Graphic Design principles from my father-in-law, Art Director, Michael Trinsey.
In early 2006 I started to learn more about creating websites, and devoted myself to learning the fundamentals of coding. I currently attend web design conferences and read web design books to gain the most current website knowledge available.
